      The nature-guided tour to Manuel Antonio National Park is approximately 3 hours. Naturalist tour guides will take you through the park to seek out and observe some amazing species. Your naturalist guide will explain to you the natural history of the park, as well your guide will explain every single species you see, and will provide amazing information regarding facts about the animals that inhabit this beautiful park.  Some of the animals you may see include; White Faced Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, Squirrel Monkeys, Toucans, Two Toed Sloths, Three Toed Sloths, Scarlet Macaws, and more. You may also see bird species such as Toucans, Pelicans, Tanagers, Ospreys, Kingfishers, and the Yellow Crowned Night Heron. It is also possible to see iguanas, lizards, snakes, and countless varieties of insects.

      The group tour has a maximum of 12 people. It is very common for groups to be with less than 8 people.

      The guides know where and how to spot animals and will help you get photos using your digital camera through the lens of their professional telescopes.

      About a 90 minute drive from Jaco is Manuel Antonio Park—Costa Rica’s most visited National Park.       The forest itself is a haven for an array of wildlife, including sloths, iguanas, the enchanting squirrel monkeys—a species rarely seen elsewhere—along with white-faced monkeys and countless vibrant crabs that add a splash of color to the landscape. The trail weaving around Punta Catedral affords hikers breathtaking panoramic views, further enhancing the park’s allure.

      Please Note

      Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Tuesdays. Transportation is NOT included with this tour. We recommend renting a car for the day from the Jaco area. The typical cost of a car rental is around $120. It is not a difficult drive from the Jaco area to Manuel Antonio National Park. This way you can explore the area and stop at your leisure. Roundtrip transportation can be provided.  Contact us with your requests.
